Cabin was clean n cozy.

This was our second time staying at the campground. The sites are very secluded and our site was on the river. It was beautiful and very enjoyable. The staff is not overly friendly by any means which is disappointing as many other people in the area are super friendly. The showers were hot, but the cleanliness of the bathrooms were disappointing. Our site was close to the bathhouse, which I highly recommend if you're going with little ones. I felt that the bathhouse was very neglected by staff (except for the 12-2 cleaning). Everyday that we went to the bathroom one of the stalls had no toilet paper...how does that happen if you are keeping your bathhouse clean? The bathhouse was always soaking wet, which I would understand because of the showers, but all it would take would be an hourly visit by the staffers to squeegee the floors. The counters were always soaked too, but again, the staffers could do an hourly visit to wipe things down for their guests...especially for the prices that are being paid. We thought the security was great and we felt very secure staying there. I do think the 11:30pm and your campfire must be out was a little crazy, but the quiet hours were awesome for camping with little ones. If you're camping to party, then this is not the campground for you, but if you're camping with little ones, then I would recommend this place. We thought about returning to this campground with my parents and they stay in a cabin, but after reading how stinky the cabins are due to the dumpsters, we probably won't do that now. The dumpsters are VERY stinky and they are right next to the cabins. The camp store is pricey, but I've never seen one that isn't overpriced...just buy your goods in town.

Awesome place. Quiet. River view. Clean. Staff is courteous, inviting and helpful.

personable when we arrived. "No big deal and not a game changer" Great Location and if your into camping and going to NH give Crawford Notch Camp Ground a try. I don't think you will be disappointed and when you see the owner John walking his dog don't forget to say Hi and give him a wave. You'll be glad you did. Just tell him Bruce from Long Island sent you.. Happy Camping At Crawford Notch.

There was a mix up in the beginning about our dogs but it was quickly resolved and they worked with us. Our site was clean, private, and quiet. It is really nice here and every worker we met was also just as nice. There are walking trails around the campground going into 60 acres of woods which is awesome. I saw a few reviews on here about a creepy security guard and a golf cart driving around "spying" all day which was not the case. There was nobody "creepy" or jumping from out of the woods. The golf cart went by twice during quiet hours, which is understandable and appreciated to make sure people aren't being inconsiderate of the rules or campers. The only negative I have, which isn't the campgrounds fault is some people did not leash their dogs. We leash our dogs 100% of the time and it is the rule at this campground and we were told when we arrived to make sure they are leashed all the time (it also respects other people with dogs). It was discouraging to see some dogs unleashed but again, not the campgrounds fault. I know if they saw it they would have said something. Other than that, we had a great time and we plan to stay here again in the future. We stayed at site 93 and it was really nice.

Went to Crawford Notch Campground two weeks ago with my two cousins from Rhode Island. We had a very good campsite with a great view of the river. My cousins have been there many times and this was my first time there. We met the new owner (John, who grew up in Lynbrook and moved to NH many years ago) he was very nice and accommodating to our needs. The Bathrooms were surprisingly clean and well kept. The showers were clean and had plenty of room for showering as well as changing. Plenty of HOT WATER! Coin operated which I liked because people would not be taken showers for and hour while you waited. We had no wait time. They do have security to keep the campers safe from any wild life. Remember you are out in the woods of NH. The gentlemen at the front desk could have been a little more

This is a REAL campground! Super clean and very wooded with privacy and amazing views of the mountains! Some other reviews mentioned dumpsters being close to cabins, which isn't the case at all, and the cabins are close to the bath houses which is super convenient. The bathouse is modern and cleaned daily. The general store is extremely well equipped- food, beer, wine, camping gear, hiking gear, ice, camp wood, breakfast sandwiches every morning, coffee, souvenirs.... And the prices are completely reasonable- it's the only store within 25-30 miles! Allows dogs unlike any other campground in the area because they are all national Forest campgrounds. Definitely one to check out!
